Performance Engineering Group is a successful engineering and commissioning firm specializing in projects for the aerospace, pharmaceutical and district energy industries. Starting in 2005 with three (3) principals, we have continued to grow each year to a team of ten (10) to meet the needs of an expanding client list and project area. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Performance Engineering Group is seeking self-motivated, experienced personnel to fill the following positions:

Commissioning Project Engineers

Position Description

Candidates will provide commissioning support and possibly management for projects in Florida including Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Cape Canaveral's Kennedy Space Center.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree BSME/ BSEE
• 3+ years of engineering design including controls systems
• 3+ years commissioning experience
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Databases)
• Licensed PE, LEED Accreditation, commissioning certification are pluses

Travel with overnight stays will be required.

Mechanical Systems Design Engineers

Position Description

Candidates will provide mechanical systems design support and possibly management for projects throughout the southeast including Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee. Projects will include the following facility types and related design experience is preferred:

• Critical Data\ Telecom Centers
• Pharmaceutical Processing and Support Areas
• District Energy Services
• Military Base Facilities

Travel with overnight stays may be required for building pre-design surveys and construction administration.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree BSME
• 3+ years of engineering design including controls systems
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Databases)
• Passed FE/ EIT exam
• Licensed PE, LEED Accreditation are pluses

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for full time personnel will be commensurate with job function, experience, and qualifications.  Benefits include the following with insurances based on candidate insurability:
